Re: Trials and Tribulations Cornered [VRC6]

Composition-wise, this isn't too bad, but PLEASE work on the volume levels, everything is too loud! I would recommend lowering both of the VRC6 Pulses to a volume of 9, and change the Sawtooth to probably a volume of B. Other than that, it sounds like you put a lot of effort into making it sound pre...

Pretty good song, if a bit repetitive, except...
Forgive me for asking, but is this actually a cover? If not, it should be posted in the "Original Music" section. Otherwise, please include some info about the original song in your post.

Re: MM6 Flame Man's Stage (0CC)

Thanks for the edit, PA. My only beef with this is that, with 0CC, I'm able to use advanced harmonies along with the regular channels: something I CAN'T really do well any other way. That's why I use 0CC so much. I also agree with your reasoning. This is in addition to the fact that "vanilla&q...

Re: Hopefully more active Famicom Hardware Recordings thread

If you're not too busy, I'd like to request a recording of my modification of Turbonator's old 2014 track, "Shaft Funk". He made 2 versions, one which used VRC7, and one which used N163. This is the N163 version, but modified to fix a bad volume issue later in the song, and to be in the sa...

Re: Version 0.5 preview

This has probably been answered somewhere in this thread, but do we have any idea when v0.5 (or at least a new beta) is going to be released? It's been almost an entire year since v0.5 Beta 5 was released, and I'm starting to wonder when/if it's ever going to be done.

Re: SMW Cover

Can we please just stop arguing and hating my posts over stupid mistakes. It is my music anyway! I don't think we're trying to hate, we would just really appreciate it if you used different titles for each new thread, if you want to make a new one for each song. Personally, I don't mind having a th...

Re: NSFPlay Synthesia 0.61 - keyboard visualizer

On a different note (and yes, I know this thread hasn't been bumped in a year), I have created a GitHub repo for NSFPlay Synthesia if anyone wants to have an easy way to edit the code. The repo is here:

Re: Metroid NES - Brinstar

Wherever you want triplets, try using a G02 effect next to the second triplet, and G04 next to the third triplet. This delays the notes by 2 and 4 ticks respectively, which should give you the effect you want. However, the "Gxx" effect is independent of the speed of the song, so a slower s...

I would definitely like to hear Maya's Theme, since, it already is somewhat 8-bit sounding, plus it's one of my favorite themes!

Totally not an edit of Turbonator - Shaft Funk

Ok, so I wasn't entirely sure whether I should post this on the "Original" board or on the "Cover" board, but I think since it's an edit of someone else's original work, it should go in the "Cover" section. Correct me if I'm wrong, though. Anyway, this is an edit of an ...
