why we can use only 6 channels from ym2413? (vrc7)

vrc7 extension used on Konami's Lagrange Point seems to use only 6 channels
but since vrc7 is based on ym2413, why can't we use whole 9 channels?
i'm asking this because FamiTracker is a great tool for composing music for hardware like Japanese Master System, not just Famicom

they are still not that accurate, but they are actually started

the result is a txt file that can be imported from famitracker - they were developed on sdlbasic
be welcome forking and improving them!

which command line argument is used for importing txt files?

i'm curious about how can we import txt files on FamiTracker from command line (from the menu is great, but from command line is really missing...) which command line argument is used for this? is it something like "wine /opt/wine/famitracker/famitracker.exe --import tune.txt" or something...

would be really cool having vgm import/export as feature - how easily can this be implemented? the great thing of vgm format is that its specification is strictly close to the nes-apu registers and values, so i guess it’s not that hard to be implemented?
