Re: 8Tones - the mobile chiptune maker

Sorry for the bump but I have made a major update on 8Tones! Users can now publish (of course with a mini in-app purchase payment (depends on what country you're at)) and listen music from a server I coded! My iPhone is reading data from the server: http://i.imgur.com/Nfm5yOW.jpg?2 I have already up...

Re: 8Tones - the mobile chiptune maker

I like how it sounds when you exit the app with a song still playing on the iOS version That was done on purpose. Here's an update: http://i.imgur.com/u9U5HEt.png?2 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A7rM7G9tHGE You can now edit notes faster on a pop-up piano roll. (Android Play Store only as for righ...

Re: 8Tones - the mobile chiptune maker

@MC Jimmy: I would try to do that, however that would be rather difficult with different kinds of instruments and DPCMs. Anyways I have just uploaded the iOS version where you can export Famitracker compatible text files, expecting to be in the App Store update around a week or two. And if you're st...

Re: How hard would Android Famitracker be?

What I've know about Android so far is that most of them run on a different CPU architecture (ARM) contrasting to what most PC and Macs run on (x86). However I am developing an Android/iOS app (8Tones) that makes MMC5 (sorta) like chiptune and yesterday I've managed to export contents from my app to...

Re: 8Tones - the mobile chiptune maker

Yes that would be rather difficult to accomplish by generating raw wave files. However I have been messing around with my own source and went through carefully on text export from Famitracker, I have managed to make my app to export Famitracker importable (MMC5) text files! Here is a PC version if y...

Re: 8Tones - the mobile chiptune maker

Here are the samples from the attachment, I have ripped them directly from Famitracker (saved as .wav file and edited using Audacity). I have looped these samples in Audacity and they seems fine. But I do know the fact that Game Maker: Studio isn't that good looping short samples. I am considering m...

Re: 8Tones - the mobile chiptune maker

Windows Phone version? Yes but since the major update of Windows 10 universal store I have more hard times uploading it to the store. But I'll figure something out.

And if you're asking for the PC version, I am thinking about making one soon.

Re: 8Tones - the mobile chiptune maker

Yes I mentioned that. But since I have tons of downloads I decided to resume the support. I have almost 7000 users installed my app: http://imgur.com/Ps6gRsc What I am interested is how to write the current project as NSF and/or FTM file since the engine I am using is capable writing a raw text file...

8Tones - the mobile chiptune maker

If any of y'all heard of a chiptune maker I was making last year (url: http://www.famitracker.com/forum/posts.php?id=6950). I have updated the app itself and published the iOS version. http://i.imgur.com/8rIv8jw.png Android Google Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.guova.e...

[2A03] Staring at My Spaceship loop

This is my first attempt making a song without any help like sheetmusic and/or midi files.

Original song by Virt (Jake Kaufman):

The part I looped is 0:50-1:16 from the original song.
