Re: Version 0.5 preview

I would very much like to support 0.5.0 version in Qt FamiTracker. But alas no source is available.

As it turns out, the Windows kit I'd installed is 32-bit. SO, the Windows version is 32-bit.
If you need 32-bit Linux or OSX, those I'm looking into.

Re: FamiTracker for other OS?

I [again] apologize for the bump, but I just recently put up released binaries of Qt FamiTracker for Windows, Linux, and OSX. https://knob.phreneticappsllc.com/nesicide/index.htm For Linux/OSX you can download just Qt FamiTracker or all of the packages. For Windows, you get all-in-one NESICIDE, Qt F...

Re: Port Famitracker to the 3DS/N3DS!?

Sorry for bumping. :) But I wonder if this is still active? Or even any interest remains? It seems @jsr has not released FT 0.5.0 source code, which I was hoping to upgrade my sources with.

Re: FamiTracker for other OS?

There is a linux and probably mac port made by cpow. I think he'll be here soon ;) There is a Qt port, yes. There's no official "build", though. I've been known to do Linux builds for people once in a while. :) As for MFC being "kind of hard to port". Meh. It was a PITA but I wo...

Re: How hard would Android Famitracker be?

Well. Qt builds to Android last I checked. But just as with the 3DS thread, I lack any Android hardware to target and "give it a try". And no, I'm not about to go buy an Android tablet [unless one can be had for under $25?] just for kicks. Speaking, specifically, from the standpoint of get...

Re: Public Repository for Famitracker

I'd like access to it only to keep up with it. :)

For what it's worth, though, the source is already exposed 99% as-is here in my QtFT repository.

Re: Port Famitracker to the 3DS/N3DS!?

Whatever I can do to help I certainly will if I can. But lacking a 3DS I probably can't. PM me if you want. Also, RE the header file casing. Yes, I have provided patches to JSR for all of that but I don't think those patches are released since I haven't seen the source for 0.5.0. I wouldn't recommen...

Re: Port Famitracker to the 3DS/N3DS!?

The bad news: it seems to be very difficult to port Famitracker to the 3DS. No easy solutions here :/ I'm not sure it's difficult. I'm just not sure it's...necessary? Seems like a "just because we can" project. But I don't own a 3DS and I don't know the 3DS community. Perhaps there are a ...

Re: Qt FamiTracker

I have not yet been able to get my Linux Mint VM's Qt installation to build anything. Strange that it doesn't work "out of the box". Damn thing can't find its own compiler in its kit. Anyway. Yes there are a few hairy parts where 64/32-bit nonsense creeps in. I thought I had tackled all of...
