Re: 0xx bug

There is a way to pitch bend arpeggios "properly", except the vanilla build cannot, and you must place the arp into the instrument itself as a sequence, reducing flexibility (no arp schemes for example). Hi-pitch sequences are measured in quarter tones while the linear pitch mode is enable...

Re: Version 0.5 preview

I don't think I have mentioned this outside the Discord server, so here it is: Once it is determined that 0.5.0 stable is statistically unlikely to be released at all, 0CC-FamiTracker will cease to be vanilla-compatible so that it can add even more features that are prohibited by file format issues ...

Re: vgm import/export

(it is supposed to have from vgm a 100% accurate data information, since it stores data from registers ) It isn't. It always uses 44100 Hz as the refresh rate, ignores read/write delays, and adds its own bloated set of directives for streaming and DMA. The register-level loop point mechanism also m...

Re: Version 0.5 preview

I am working on my own fork of AddmusicK (Super Mario World SPC MML compiler-inserter) because it is in much direr need for rewrite than FamiTracker. And really, most people still don't know most 0CC-FamiTracker features they will need, whether they are users or not. It will keep people entertained ...

Re: Looking for .dcm file that sounds something like this...

You need SPCTOOL, or Split700 (also at SMWCentral), to extract samples from an SPC file. Additionally you might need to change their sample rates using an audio editor to match the original pitches before they can be imported. SPCPlay actually supports "saving" WAV files. All player settin...

Re: An ambitious idea for a FamiTracker mod orientating various sound chips

We have Game Gear support already, and it will support at least 3 more sound chips on the way, so this really is not as ambitious as you tend to think.

the problem is making anything in the tracker takes 120% ~ 200% more time than needed when said fork is based on vanilla ft rather than 0cc-ft
