The original rule about beta modules was that you're supposed to mark them for people who want to stick with stable releases. As for unofficial modules, there's technically banned, but since the mods haven't been here in forever, the ban has effectively been lifted. Of course, if people used 0CC-Fam...

Even if you're not advanced, 0CC has a lot of helpful features like find/replace and multi-pattern selection. I know I'm sounding like a shill, but there really isn't any reason not to get 0CC-FamiTracker.

There was a database error that removed the metadata of some entries. It was annoying, certainly, but not 'completely messed up' to me. Of course, djmaximum could be talking about another event I haven't heard of.

You have two main options:
1-Double (or quadruple) the song's Speed so you can fit more notes into rows. The Expand function in the Pattern dropdown will help you a lot here.
2-Make an instrument with a looping volume sequence to simulate 32nd notes.
