[2A03+N163-1] Mega Man 9 - Flash In the Dark

Hey, everyone. I wrote this cover about a week ago, but I do not have the original .nsf or .ftm of this currently as I recently got a new PC and haven't moved all the files yet, but I do have it uploaded to soundcloud. My apologies, next post should be back to normal. https://soundcloud.com/joblez_i...

(2A03+N163-1)Scram!

Hey, All! I'm working on the soundtrack to a game a friend of mine is working on, and this is one of the tracks I have done for it. I figured I would just post this one, wait until it's finished, and then post the rest as one single OST. It was made in 0cc Famitracker, and as much as I tried getting...

Re: Cosmic Disaster OST (VRC7)

Very nicely done! Reminds me very heavily of Lagrange Point for the NES (which makes sense, it uses the same chip lol), with some very lovely composition work and instrumentation. can't wait to see more of this OST!

Re: [VRC6]Bonetrousle

Simple but well done. Sounds very reminiscent of the original piece. I think the percussion sounds fine btw, it's by no means bad to have higher pitched tom drums. I think some of the instrumentation is a bit odd in certain places, specifically in the later frames like 0E and 0F. not that Switching ...

Re: Welcome to The Future! (MMC5)

MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM FUNKY
Ok, but for real I love this song. It's so funky and upbeat and captures the futuristic tone so well. The instrumentation and percussion is great on this.

Re: Classroom [N163]

This is a pretty good example of using N163 properly, I must say. It fits the mood of "taking a quiz" very well, with good usage of mixing and chords.

Re: To War! [VRC6]

Very much reminiscent of Metallica, I enjoy it's simple yet quite nice progression. Sounds like it would be an antagonist's theme in an RPG. Nicely done.

Re: Soundtrack to use

I quite like it! Shame it got canceled, the psuedo-70s rock vibes this soundtrack has is really nice, and remind me heavily of old James Bond films. Good work!

Re: Shadow of the Thunder King (VRC6) (WIP)

If I were to assume, this in some way tied to your last project, "Clash with The Thunder King?" The soundtrack so far is pretty fantastic. I'd argue the compositions on here are just as, if not better than the ones before it. Keep up the great work.

Re: MM2 Stage Select

Pretty rad, if I say so myself. The audio mixing is good, the channels blend together nicely, and the tri kicks are spot on. Nice work.
