Re: Shadow of the Thunder King (VRC6) (WIP)

It is indeed. It's meant to be a sequel, because letting ideas die is hard, and I had a lot of song ideas left for the general style. I had a lot of fun with CwtTK, but a lot of the material there were songs I'd conceptualized before (and written badly - Meteor Mania! was the first track I ever ...

Re: Themefornonexistinggame023 [2A03](BETA)

This is a nice little tune. I think you need to play a little bit with making the Pulse 2 channel more interesting, however. -Vary the pitch slightly from the Pulse 1 channel, because weird things happen when both channels try to play the same note at the same time. P81 or P7f would work well, thoug...

Shadow of the Thunder King (VRC6) (WIP)

NOTE: Edited 4/23, completed Clever Colossus 1 (version38) Thought I'd make a new topic rather than post on the other, since it's labeled as Cosmic Glitch instead. Slowly making progress on this, and I've got most of the songs planned out in some form. Added Into the Fray (well, there was a previous...

Re: Need composer for my game.(Detail added) PAID

I've been using the version 0.5 beta (which, admittedly, I don't think is ever going to be completed, from the looks of it). You should be able to download it from here: http://forums.famitracker.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=173 - if you have any problems, I can also convert the files back/make a .ns...

Re: Need composer for my game.(Detail added) PAID

I'm interested by the art and concept. I'll probably whip up some ideas that align with those frameworks over the next few days.

Re: Need composer for my game. PAID

Some questions abound. In adding to the above about tone and channels, I'm not totally sure what you mean by "no arpeggio chord" - do you mean the stylized NES/chiptune quick arpeggios, or arpeggios in general? As is, "arpeggio chord" is something of a moot term - an arpeggio is ...

Re: Cosmic Glitch (VRC6)

Glad to hear it was enjoyed! I've updated the module to include the finished version of Slot Machine Seduction as well, which was a ton of fun to write. It's at the top of the module, as it'll comes early in the track order come the final project.

Re: Marvelous Doppelganger Segment 1 [VRC6]

It feels a bit repetitive, but a lot of the variations on the theme are really quite compelling. Looking forward to that second segment.

Cosmic Glitch (VRC6)

Third song in the module - the rest are works in progress for a sequel album to Thunder King. This one's an endgame stage after the true villain has revealed himself.

[Edited 1/13/17 - completed Slot Machine Seduction]

Re: Oubliette in G Minor(VRC7)

Great use of the VRC7! I've never been able to sit down and work out how to use it, and so I find anything using it impressive, but this in particular makes great use of the instruments. Sections of this sound like they could be almost straight out of a Metroid game, but I like the higher energy you...
