Edit the wav file in audacity or another editor. Get it pitched to the right pitch, export a wav file. Make a new DMC with that wav file. Sorry, another noob question: how do I convert .wav to .dcm? Yeah, converting a Sawtooth wave to a Triangle wave isn't the easiest thing. (At least for me)

There are 15 pitches you can play each DMC sample at. Generally only the last few are going to be usable. Go too low and it sounds very scratchy. If you can't get it to sound the way you like with adjusting the pitch value, you can try pitching it down with an audio editor like audacity. Export a n...

Here are the 3 drum samples from the song. wav format The low noise is used by downpitching the closed hihat. It is difficult to get them to sound good when converting them to DMC files. You need SPCTOOL, or Split700 (also at SMWCentral), to extract samples from an SPC file. Additionally you might need to change their sample rates using an audio editor to match the original pitches before they can be imported. SPCPlay actually supports "saving" WAV files. All player setti...
