Comment & Row Highlight

Hey jsr, I don't know if this has been requested before, but would it be possible to be able to manually mark frames with another color? This would be for the purpose of marking mixed meter pieces, or even mark the start of a new part of the piece/song. Perhaps there could be a quick short-cut to ma...

Re: Continue: Philly Under Fire NSF

No way, you're also Shnabubula? I like that opening, that microtonal M2 changing timbres like that is really creative. There's such a wide variety of style that shows confident maturity in the composition. Everything loops so well too, I def got a lot to learn from this!

Re: Delver's Determination [5B]

Some things: ⋅ The 5B seems prone to becoming more noticeably detuned than the RP2A03 when using the Pxx effect, so I would advise against using it as frequently as you are in this piece. In one example, there's a hanging P82 that enters 5B channel 3 in frame 0x0F, where it sounds super o...

Delver's Determination [5B]

Hey FTers, This is my 2nd project done in Famitracker (0.5 BETA 2) and my 3rd finished chip music piece. If you have the time and could possibly help give me insight on what you would think would help with my production (composition critiques welcomed too), that would be really great. Thanks in adva...

Re: NSFPlay Synthesia-like Playback Option

I'm glad you like the idea, I wish I had the skill and the time to do this, but I'm currently just a middleware-using musician. Would anyone else be on board with this idea? Thanks for making the Synthesia add on by the way Patashu, it has been really inspiring musically :) I think I naturally imagi...

Re: NSFPlay Synthesia 0.61 - keyboard visualizer

Hey Patashu, so I made a topic about this earlier here: http://forums.famitracker.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=160 Could it be possible to make a version of this correlate to Famitracker's playback? From the conversation I get the impression this wouldn't be easy to do, though it would be extremely h...

Re: Useful ways to use the triangle channel?

Single-channel echo. (I did that a lot.) Although the triangle channel does not have volume control, and one does not always have the DPCM for controlling volume, these can be somehow imitated with note cut effects. For example, at standard tempo one has: C-4 00 . ... ... --- .. . G02 ... E-4 00 . ...

Re: "Slurs"

This is a slur: http://puu.sh/i2wW4/03a25c33d0.png In MML dialects, the "&" symbol is often defined to be the slur command, as opposed to the "^" symbol for tie. (If tie uses "&" then slur will use "&&") Some weaker dialects treat the slur as ...
