Mega Man 7 - Shade Man [5B]

A cover of Shade Man's theme from Mega Man 7. Sunsoft 5B expansion, NTSC 64 Hz. The 2A03 instruments are somewhat stylistic of Konami's music produced for the NES and Famicom (the snare in particular). The selection of the Sunsoft 5B expansion was because I was thinking about Famicompo Pico 2015 Cov...

Re: Window Resizing

The space required to "display register state" should (when enabled) be counted as horizontal space you can scroll to (currently this is useless if your module has more than 2-3 extra channels because there's no way to scroll it into view) At the very least, this problem does not exist in...

Re: Normal Famitracker or 0CC-FamiTracker?

Arp sequences are more powerful but there's no way to invoke them directly.... I believe you have said this before but I have yet to understand what you mean by it. You might be describing a process whereby users can call instrument sequences directly (similar to LSDj's Axx for running specific tab...

Re: Post your old, embarassing crap here!

Did you lose the FTM to Mark XXVIII (GBC), or Mark XXVIII (NES)?

The Ixy effect (and the Hxy effect in addition) does not work on the MMC5 Pulses.

Re: FamiTracker songs that sound like the C64

My composer uses FamiTracker. That's why I ask my questions here to see what can and what cannot be done. When people here provide me example files and they sound the way I like it, I can show them to him and tell him to use a similar style. Let the composer do the research themselves, then let the...

Re: FamiTracker songs that sound like the C64

But the thing is: Most European NES games don't sound like the C64 to me. The stylistic elements of "Eurochip" include arpeggios where each note plays for roughly one tick at 60 Hz (the 0xy effect does this), strong percussion, making use of certain waveforms and noise combinations, and p...

Re: Guess that theme!!!

Beg your pardon? I didn't understand a word of that... It was a jab at Inafune's habit of making Kickstarter campaigns for a lot unnecessary projects [See: crowdfunding for Red Ash (the game), crowdfunding for a Red Ash animated film before the game even finishes its campaign ], all whilst delaying...
