Was that last remark REALLY needed? Your point would be just as valid without that last statement. There's no need to be rude.

Re: Normal Famitracker or 0CC-FamiTracker?

I would use 0CC if it weren't for the fact that all my recent projects are 0.5.0 only. I also prefer using the regular 0xy effect to longer kinds of arps. (I know, it's heresy.)

Re: Post your old, embarassing crap here!

I remember composing for a game called Mark XXVIII about a year or so ago (the game is still in development, it had to be restarted completely) and while the composition itself isn't bad by any means, I had no idea how to do instrumentation or anything like that. It was a bit hard to listen to becau...

Re: Undertale Covers

In Papyrus's song, I can barely hear the samples. I'm noticing that this is a sort of trend in FT covers... :/ I haven't listened to all of the FTMs yet, but I'm hoping this isn't how the other FTMs are. The pitches are also rather difficult to listen to. With long notes, I recommend using vibrato i...

Cybernoid [C64] 2A03 Cover

Spent about 5 hours on this. Fun tune to cover, but it was hard as hell too because the thing has intricate basslines, some annoying 16th note runs, and the whole song is almost 7 minutes long. The file uses the 0.5.0 beta. If you don't have it, you can listen to a YT version here: https://www.youtu...

Re: Yet another Megalovania cover (Undertale) VRC6

I'm not so sure what you mean by sparse bass notes though. It's true that the bass gets a little overpowered because I sometimes sacrificed one of the dedicated channels for something else. Especially at 1:22 where the percussion drowns it out almost completely, probably shoulda done something abou...

Re: Link's Awakening - Mabe Village

I never liked the GB and GBC Zelda soundtracks at all. However, this is a very accurate cover of the original, which I applaud. But what's up with the weird lengths of the frames? They don't correspond with the measures at all. For instance, you made the first frame end on the third beat of a measur...

Re: Yet another Megalovania cover (Undertale) VRC6

It's clear you have great skill, but to me the cover is just...empty. One of the things I loved about the original song is the huge bassline, and how the electric guitars just keep hammering. It was huge and very exciting. Here, there's a lot of holes between notes, and the bass notes are very spars...

SWiV [GBC] Title Theme (VRC6)

A cover that I did of one of my all-time favorite GBC tunes. You can find the original version here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9QOCGz_ZfPA (Sorry the wave channel is really quiet in this guy's recording, GBC emulators like to do that.) This FTM uses the 0.5.0 beta, so if you can't open it, I'v...

Re: Sphere Brain BGM 2 (2a03)

Awesome track I enjoyed it a lot! The cover seems close enough. Thank you! Added A few things that I thought would make it sound a bit 'closer' to the original. Very nice cover btw I like the duty cycling for the main melody that you added. The vibrato is also cool. I don't know about that arp, tho...
