Re: Favorite soundchip?

What would that achieve? We don't really have a use for that kind of statistical data. Popularity vote polls are kind of frowned upon in most places, and in here it would definitely be considered clutter.

Re: MIDI Importing Help Needed

Yeah it really does sound like you should've be using a tracker if you find the way trackers inherently work tedious. There are other ways of making NSFs (and other chiptunes) that perhaps you would find more intuitive. MML springs to mind, for instance.

Re: Thunderforce IV - Community Cover Project

Wow, this certainly took a strange turn. I think everyone needs to understand that this is a difficult project to put together, let alone lead. recme has done a good job so far of picking a direction and steering the project that way. It may not please anyone entirely, and perhaps some of you would'...

Re: Thunderforce IV - Community Cover Project

VGMPlay/in_vgm.dll should be the only player anyone has in mind for VGM. It supports every chip the VGM format implements, has superior accuracy, and is maintained by the creator of the VGM format himself.

Re: Thunderforce IV - Community Cover Project

2. Members can use whichever expansion chip needed to cover the song needed. The only limit is your creativity. As for the organization, all the songs will be kept in a folder/zip. I have strong feelings against this. My original idea when pitching this project was to reunite every FTM under a sing...

I unstickied the topic, but I'll leave it open just in case anyone wants to discuss the voting process/the vote results specifically.

Re: Delete key vs. backspace

I have to admit I'm getting more than fed up with your incessant, inane, selfish feature requests (as well as the "I want this therefore everyone should" attitude). I used to get a laugh out of them – and the fact you've somehow managed to pull 20 of them out of your ass within barely a ye...

Re: [2A03+5B] Digging in the past (requires beta 0.5 or later)

There are lots and lots of hanging 4xy effects in there, in every pulse/square channel, as well as a hanging P7F effect in the 5B Square 1 channel. You should probably check that out (the "Display active effects" option should help you track those hanging commands fairly easily). Also I'm ...

Re: [VOTE] BRAINSTORMING - Collaborative Videogame OST Cover Project

what's so bad about covering a set amount of songs from both games if they're from the same franchise? Goes against the spirit of the project as I initially imagined it, which was to select one game and to cover its entire soundtrack using FamiTracker. The point is moot anyway, since as I understan...

Right. Well, I don't think we need one of those.

Or this thread, for that matter.
