Re: best way to get the notes from arps?

I put the first chords used in the tune into an FTM.

Instrument names are the arp sequences used. As HertzDevil said, time stretching a tune to identify individual notes may be an effective way to find out what chords the arps are playing.

Re: What's the hardest song you've ever covered?

I have a habit of not naming my instruments when I make something. This habit proved very unhelpful when I covered Dancing Mad with only the 2A03 without DPCM . Having 64 instruments named "New Instrument" isn't exactly helpful, so when I was 3/4ths into the cover, I decided to start namin...

Re: Thunderforce IV - Community Cover Project (heroic coup edition)

Miniscule changes to Don't Go Off (Removal of DPCM and using VRC7 custom patch for bass, chords now use patch 7) in addition to a 2A03 and MMC5 version if that is fine.

EDIT: I also added an MMC5 version of Space Walk.

Re: Thunderforce IV - Community Cover Project

I find danooct1's argument about using vrc7 seeing as TFIV already is fm completely nonsensical . Not only is the VRC7 a 2-operator FM unit compared to the YM2612's 4 operators, but only one preset patch at a time creates some serious difficulties in making it sound good at all, seeing as the preset...
