Re: An ambitious idea for a FamiTracker mod orientating various sound chips

We have Game Gear support already, and it will support at least 3 more sound chips on the way, so this really is not as ambitious as you tend to think.

the problem is making anything in the tracker takes 120% ~ 200% more time than needed when said fork is based on vanilla ft rather than 0cc-ft

Re: 【For everyone who wants to git gud】What's 0CC-FT and why use it instead of official FT?

Some more elaboration on why I keep focusing on the interface improvements in 0CC-FamiTracker. Consider these scenarios: ⋅ If you cannot use grooves, you can always place the repeating Fxx commands on one of the tracks. ⋅ If you cannot use arpeggio schemes, you can usually split ...

Re: 【For everyone who wants to git gud】What's 0CC-FT and why use it instead of official FT?

One thing I don't understand is the mentality of 0CC being hard for whatever reason. Why? It's literally the same, but with more features. You can use it just like vanilla FT if you want to, and learn the new features later if they seem hard at first. Pretty much this. Taking this a step further: w...

The 0CC-FamiTracker / SnevenTracker Forum

Because the number of 0CC-FamiTracker users continues to rise, and I am personally doing more code projects, I have decided to reopen my own forum and make 0CC-FT one of its categories. I will use the same forum for all of my programming stuffs. HertzDevil's Forum All moderators who find threads at ...

Re: Help about multple key presses

It is right in my signature, there is also a demo video showing this capability (it is disabled inside edit mode). Much of the added code can be found in this commit.

Re: Help about multple key presses

This is how vanilla FamiTracker works. At least one mod supports playing notes on multiple channels of the same type (it also has split keyboard input so you can play bass on one group of channels and chord on another), but note that you still need more channels to play full chords, e.g. with MMC5 e...

Re: VRC7 Custom Patches

You can just run 6 instances of FamiTracker and then use syncplay.exe. As I said on Discord, I do not understand why people request things like multiple simultaneous custom VRC7 patches instead of things like OPL2 support. Surely if you are going to produce something that cannot be played on hardwar...

Re: Using Multiple Expansion Chips at Once

This forum does not acknowledge 0CC-FamiTracker, although that does not matter much since most 0CC-FamiTracker users no longer acknowledge this forum either.
