You should want 2A03 PCM first because the same technique will work on both, and 2A03 is always available wherea...

Re: Undertale - Tem Shop 224hz Remix

4 Hz is a big detune. At 220Hz that's roughly 31 cents, or a third of a semitone.

If you wanted it detuned vs the other channels, Pxx is a better route, you'd get much finer and more precise control, and more importantly you can turn it on and off.

Re: FAMICOMPO PICO 2015 (starts 1 Nov 2015)

Different NES machines have different balance of channels, unfortunately. It is not a high precision machine. There's a lot of variation. Re: Undertale - Tem Shop 224hz Remix

Ahh, that makes sense, w7n, though I'm confused why DJ Dimeback used 224Hz and not 220Hz then...

Re: Undertale - Tem Shop 224hz Remix

What is special about the number 224? This is not the first time I've seen a 224Hz NSF. How come people choose this number?

Re: Guess that theme!!!

Yes, what I was saying is that Space Harrier basically had a "VRC7" port of its soundtrack way back then. (Not a good one, mind you.)

Re: Guess that theme!!!

Interestingly, Space Harrier had its music ported to YM2413 for the Japanese release of Space Harrier 3D on the Mark III (SMS).
