Hey, welcome to FamiTracker! Most people would start with this tutorial. There are multiple parts and lets you cover a rather easy song: Kraid's Lair. It's kinda outdated, but most things mentioned are the same.

Wow, this is a very beautiful song, I really like this! One thing to note, starting on frame 1A, you have A and 5 volume effects on triangle. Not sure if it was lazy copy/pasting or you intentionally put them there.

Why are you using DPCM samples for cut scene dialogue
Yeah, FT supports 64 DPCM samples. If you need more space, try lowering the quality (pitch and speed) for the samples to be longer, but sound a little bit worse.

So I finally listened to my song and I accidentally overwrote pattern 00 in the beginning, the noise cancels out in the end, and i forgot to pitch the sample at the end. YAY ERRORS!! It sounds decent, but I could've done a lot better tbh...

Me and LordAndrew had an OHB where we had to keep our FT muted so we couldn't hear what we were making. I still haven't heard the song and will listen to it in ~24 hours. Give feedback so I know what to expect!! : P
