If my classes don't have me too busy I'd love to participate in this.

Been looking into some of the releases from last year and it has been extremely inspiring! Hoping to join in on the fun this year!

Hopefully I'll have my piece done before registrations are over. I've always wanted to participate in one of these, but I just can't ever find the time...

Will participate.

This is the first compo I want to participate, and I hope it'll be very fun.

Cool to see a lot of chiptuners I've never heard of before looking to enter :) Looking forward to hearing all of your stuff!

I'd like to enter two songs, but I may not have time to make the second one - or have the brains to carry it out.. going for a bit of an experiment!

What's the community's thoughts for a good benchmark for which NSF player/emulator we should maybe check against? I've noticed the same NSF sounds quite different in Rainwarrior's fork of NSFPlay vs different emulators vs Famitracker's native output. I'm guessing that the emulators are probably the least accurate and the worst to check against.

The players I use are the Synthesia fork of Rainwarrior's NSFplay fork and my TNS hardware, and with the exception of a few things that were left over from the original NSFplay (like a small issue with low-period 5B Tone/ENV combos) NSFplay is the most accurate one. The things that matter have been ironed out or are close enough to be satisfying for everyone, like FDS modulation, N163 channel hiss emulation, and the VRC7 patches.
Slowly working on a thing called "FaMIGA".
