It's like this: Earlier, I attempted to implement instrument bankswitching in the FT NSF engine so that it's able to output NSF with more instruments. The modded FT (based on 0CC-FT 0.3.9) now generates such an NSF file (the N163 pitch table is not yet fixed but ignore this for now) with 177 FDS instruments and a bunch other instruments. All other things work fine, except that there's some clicking noise bug in the N163:
When the clicking noise bug happens, the N163 waveforms show properly in the NSFPlay visualizer, but the sounds are just clicking noise. This doesn't happen on VNSF, but it's quite likely that it will also occur on hardware. So what's the cause of it? (Hardware specs, not about the FT program itself.)
The bug occurs with N163 instruments 28,29,2A.
Does anyone know anything about the N163 clicking noise bug?

nsf.nesbbs.com under reconstruction, better player might be available in the future.
VRC6 PWM is GAY because it has colours of the rainbow in the NSFPlay keyboard visualizer.
