Best ways to make a Pulse/Triangle noise sound different?

Postby AwesomeYears » Thu May 21, 2015 4:33 am

So I am a beginner to Famitracker, got the basics done, but don't know how to make the best effects to the notes. Help!

Also, is there any sample instrument packs for Pulse and Triangle chips?

The features request subforum is intended for requesting new features for FamiTracker itself, not for requesting stuff like this.

With that out of the way, you might want to check this thread out. There's a big collection of instruments posted by several members of the old forums there. Also I suggest you experiment with the different instrument settings a lot so you can get a basic understanding on how they work.

Also you should definitely check out the effects list included in the FamiTracker help file, and of course try out each effect to see how they work.

Thanks for that, I couldn't really work out what this board was really for. :P
Probably want to make a thread with all the files organized together.
Also, does someone have a xylophone I can use?

You should also analyze songs that others have done so far. You might learn more from those as well.
