0CC-FamiTracker

Postby HertzDevil » Sat May 23, 2015 1:15 pm

0CC-FamiTracker is a fork of the official FamiTracker release which originated from the Arpeggio Scheme mod. Currently it incorporates these extensions:
  • Sunsoft 5B support (AY-3-8910, works in exported NSFs)
  • Arpeggio schemes (e.g. { | 0 0 x x y y 12 12 } with parameters directly taken from 0xy effects)
  • Hardware volume envelopes for 2A03 (length counter, hardware decay, triangle linear counter)
  • Detune settings (similar to Pxx per pitch for every chip)
  • Groove settings (simplifying chains of Fxx speed effects)
  • Echo buffer (retrieve previously played notes during run-time)
  • Delayed effects (channel volume, release, transpose)
  • N163 wave buffer access effect (same instrument, different wave positions during run-time)
  • NSFe export (with proper loop durations and playlist)
And interface improvements such as:
  • Selections spanning across frames
  • Channel state retrieval
  • Find / replace tab
  • Special pasting modes (Overwrite, Insert, Flood fill)
  • Compact view (similar to ScreamTracker)
  • Register state display for all expansion chips
  • Expansion chip selector (from ipi's fork)
  • Ad-doc multichip NSF export
  • Dozens of tweaks
All versions of 0CC-Famitracker, including source code and demo modules, can be found here.
The latest build is version 0.3.10, released on Jun 2nd 2015.

The 0CC-FamiTracker development log is here.
The 0CC-FamiTracker support forum is here.
The Git source repository for 0CC-FamiTracker is here.

You may share 0CC-FT modules at the support forum or send bug reports there. For short questions and requests you could also do them anonymously at the development log; or you may want to contribute to 0CC-FamiTracker itself using Github. I will only answer questions related to both 0CC-FT and the official release here; all other questions will be deferred to the development log (if you have a lot to say you are better off using the support forum).

1. Kudos
2. Don't know if it has been brought up before but there are very weird pasting bugs in 0.3.9
3. Check your PM
nsf.nesbbs.com under reconstruction, better player might be available in the future.

VRC6 PWM is GAY because it has colours of the rainbow in the NSFPlay keyboard visualizer.

0CC-FamiTracker 0.3.10 is released. Some new features include the FDS hardware volume envelope, fixed tempo (all speed values correspond to number of ticks per row), and channel state display (works even when not playing).

View the release notes here.
