@MC Jimmy: I would try to do that, however that would be rather difficult with different kinds of instruments and DPCMs.
Anyways I have just uploaded the iOS version where you can export Famitracker compatible text files, expecting to be in the App Store update around a week or two.
And if you're still here HertzDevil, please let me know how to use Game Maker's buffers to synthesize sound streams. I am interested to have more accurate emulation on the sound waves.
And one more thing, at some point I am planning to rewrite the whole app where users can create instruments, add effects, toggle channels, and more.

Yay you brought this to iOS!
I like how it sounds when you exit the app with a song still playing on the iOS version

Hi! I'm not really active here anymore but I still make music. Nowadays I mostly make dubstep with emphasis on good melodies and chord progressions.

That was done on purpose.
Here's an update:

You can now edit notes faster on a pop-up piano roll. (Android Play Store only as for right now)
As for audio, it turns out that Game Maker's buffering sounds worse (now it has too much static noise). So I'll stick to samples at this point. However I am planning to add an ability to copy/paste note.
@MC Jimmy: that would be rather impossible since I have to use buffering to manipulate all of the instruments/effects/etc. If I can make GM's buffering system without all of the noises I can possibly do that (but I have to rewrite the whole app itself).
Last of all here's my goals at this point:
- Implement note copy/paste functions
- Play the sample while interacting the piano roll
- Make a "piano roll" for noise/beats

Re: 8Tones - the mobile chiptune maker
Sorry for the bump but I have made a major update on 8Tones!
Users can now publish (of course with a mini in-app purchase payment (depends on what country you're at)) and listen music from a server I coded!
My iPhone is reading data from the server:

I have already updated the Android version and iOS version update coming soon in around a week!

I made an account just to ask you to put this app back on the iOS AppStore for iPhone.
It's been removed and I'm heartbroken I didn't get to try this amazing app.

Re: 8Tones - the mobile chiptune maker
This app seems to have been pulled from both the App Store and Google Play. Is there any reason for this? I really liked this app, and I recently switched to Android and can't download it anymore, which I think is a real shame.

The Amazon Appstore link still appears to work.

Oh, cool! Wait a minute... Amazon has an App Store? Like Google Play and Galaxy Apps wasn't enough to begin with?
Anyway, I actually tweeted the creator of 8Tones two weeks ago, and he was nice enough to upload the APK for 8Tones to his website for me. I'll link his tweet if anyone wants to get 8Tones, but doesn't want to download another app to download this app: https://twitter.com/NovaGT7/status/927328612331634688
