How to make a second triangle channel?

Postby Steve » Mon Mar 13, 2017 7:54 pm

So currently I'm covering this song. There are a few parts of the song that sound like they use two triangle channels, although even with separate extensions, there's only one. I looked this up and saw that you could use the triangle from the Nintendo FDS Sound extension, although after trying this out, for some reason the triangle seems more defined, and so, sounds a bit different.

Is there any other workaround for this? Thanks.

Have one N163 channel with the triangle wave set as default. It nearly sounds indentical to the 2A03 triangle, but don't use volume control on the N163 channel.

The Triangle Channel Has No Slide or No Fade Volume.
