Problems with balancing volume.

Postby Steve » Thu Mar 30, 2017 2:10 am

This isn't as much of a technical question, but I need some suggestions on how to go about this. I'm currently covering this song, and I've gotten to the part where the lead channel comes in. This starts around 1:00. If you listen to the file I've uploaded, you'll notice that the 2 pulses seem to be really loud and kind of overpower the rest of the channels, which doesn't sound too good. I'm having a hard time trying to balance them so that that the pulses are substantially more noticeable, but the other channels are still clearly heard.

(By the way, I know there's a few other problems with the cover, but I'm waiting to work more on them until I finish the basic format of the whole song.)

I think you might be using Beta .5.0 because I don't have a new enough version to open the file. Could you make a version for 4.6? I'm not sure how to download beta .5, otherwise I would. Sorry!

Fixed it!

I used 0CC-FT and Exported by 0.4.6

And also Download Here. You need a WinRAR to open this

Okay, so I've finished the notes and things, but I still need to balance the volumes, and master the sound effects. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

So, I divided the original one triangle channel into 3, making it so that I can have multiple fades, etc. Everything sounds great right now, but I'm having trouble fitting the lead notes in.
