My percussion's all wrong!

Postby Klop » Sun Aug 06, 2017 9:27 pm

In short, the song I'm trying to cover uses 32nd notes for its percussion. And I have NO clue how to imitate it. I've tried using G00 effects, but it didn't help.

You have two main options:
1-Double (or quadruple) the song's Speed so you can fit more notes into rows. The Expand function in the Pattern dropdown will help you a lot here.
2-Make an instrument with a looping volume sequence to simulate 32nd notes.
A squid with a higher post count than the NES can handle.

I'll go with the second option, but since I have NO idea how I would do that, more info on how to or attaching a fti. file would be appreciated.

Wait, no. I think I know what you mean. Does this sound better?
