Purple bar problems...

Postby iYamWhatIYam » Sun Aug 02, 2015 12:54 am

I need some help with an issue I have encountered.

I was trying to begin a new track, and when I pressed play, a purple bar began to scroll down, leaving the blue bar in place and the pattern editor stays still. I wish to turn off the purple bar.

Please help me troubleshoot the issue!
I have permanently switched to 0CC-FamiTracker. If and when JSR decides to update vanilla FamiTracker at this point is entirely out of the question for me.

Hit the "Follow mode" button on the toolbar to solve this. Alternatively, press the Scroll Lock button on your keyboard.

The what key?

But seriously, yeah, that's the difference between Follow mode and non-follow mode. I believe the default shortcut for toggling them is like Alt+F or something, and you can also see/toggle its status on the toolbar at the top.

Nonfollow mode is useful if you're the type to make edits while a song is actually playing.

Was it necessary? >:P

Scroll Lock is the default key to toggle follow mode, not Alt+F.
