Qxx on Noise Bug - Famitracker 0.5.0 beta

Postby Patashu » Fri Apr 01, 2016 9:35 am

In Famitracker 0.4.2, if you use Qxy or Rxy on noise, it increments the frequency value by y units. If it would overflow or underflow, it wraps around. It does not do any unnecessary sliding across the range in the opposite direction, it goes straight to the next value. This is true in both .ftm and .nsf.

In Famitracker 0.5.0, the behaviour of Qxy and Rxy on noise is still correct in .nsf, but in .ftm overflowing from #-F to #-0 frequency will cause it to sweep upwards across the entire frequency range, THEN stop at #-0. I desire it to work like it did in Famitracker 0.4.2.
