DPCM Instrument Setup Crash

Postby AlunBlue14 » Tue May 17, 2016 4:42 pm

Hey,

I have an issue with the setup on certain DPCM instruments\samples. The first time I open an instrument, it seems fine. However when I adjust the column width on the loaded samples list. It crashes with Exception 0xC0000005. I will attach the instruments and some dumps that were created due to this problem since any time I open that screen, it crashes with the same error.

I was looking for the dump files and was puzzled when I couldn't find them. Until I tried running FamiTracker as an Admin and it seemed to stop crashing so it must have been something to do with not being able to edit the folder it was in. This bug only occurs when the program can't edit the folder it is in.
So either it couldn't create the dump files when it crashed or I'm a silly and can't find them.

In case you're running from the ProgramFiles directory, any writings to it will end up in another specific folder deep on your drive.

You wouldn't happen to know where would you? So that I can find where these dumps are. Or am I being dumb asking?
