Winamp's built in EQ has a weird reaction to the plugin.
Seems to process it but at the same time it doesnt.
Hi! I make some 8Bit music and other stuff so why not check it out?

This is the only 'documentation' I have on the EQ.

void eq_set(int on, char data[10], int preamp)
{
// most plug-ins can't even do an EQ anyhow.. I'm working on writing
// a generic PCM EQ, but it looks like it'll be a little too CPU
// consuming to be useful :)
// if you _CAN_ do EQ with your format, each data byte is 0-63 (+20db <-> -20db)
// and preamp is the same.
}

I understand what the parameters do. However, I'm not *doing* anything based on them. So I'm not sure why the EQ settings have ANY impact on FTMs. FWIW the plugin APIs aren't well documented.

Nope, not at all.

And there you have it, folks; a fully-working WinAmp plugin to play FTM files. And if anyone remembers, the same is very possible to do in the form of a uFMOD-clone API for using FTMs in your own demos, keygens & other project.

Anyone getting any use out of this?

I'm not sure I follow why you'd need uFMOD to be able to play FTMs elsewhere. Or do you mean you want a DLL that conforms to the uFMOD API?

I'm actually enjoying the WinAmp plugin, plus all I was saying that it's possible, with the same persistence & perseverance, to create a uFMOD-like DLL.

Now don't take this as a request to have this made; you already went above & beyond with making your plugin as it is & I'm not one to request things like this either.
