Pushing up the Duty cycle values on 2A03 or the Wave value on N163 etc

I'm not sure if that were useful to anyone, but it would certainly help somewhere.

For instance you have a N163 which is a Lowpassing Sawtooth (1 is with no "filter", 15 is lowpassed in somesort) and you want to lower or higher the value.

Like:

A-4 00 - 400 V02 Value 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 15 15 is changed, Value 0 1 2 3 4 ... 15 was shifted up by 2 using that new expansion

--- -- - --- ---
C-3 00 - --- V10 Value 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 15 15 gets shifted down by 1, resulting in 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 15


V0y highers the value by 1, 2, 3 etc so in the end effect if V04 for instance is used, the Wave value is not 0 1 2 3 4 etc, it is 4 5 6 7 8 etc, only temporarily, the same goes for Vx0, V30 pushes the value down by 3, so if the wave value is 0 1 2 3 4 etc, it'll be pushed down by 3 like so: 0 0 0 0 1 2 3 etc.

This could be useful for some filter-based Namco waves.

Edit: The different mode can be changed in the Module Properties like the Vibrato style
slowly ceasing to exist.

Your examples kinda don't match the behavior you're describing. Also I don't get how the 2A03 comes into play here.

You already can have 16 different waves per instrument which is a luxury of FT. It has nothing to do with how the N163 operates. You just get to have up to 16 waves located in one convenient and tidy spot. I don't see the advantage or necessity of such a feature when you can just make another instrument holding 16 more waves to be selected at will with the current Vxx usage.
