In most cases it is possible. Both of them are 2op, have almost identical options and I did some convertions myself.

You are asking FamiTracker to include an entire compression library only so that it can load a handful of instrument formats, for most of which no equivalent representations in VRC7 and FamiTracker FTI exist.

Would simply copying the instrument macros' MML strings work?

If by this you mean you've taken some of the work out of it and already made Famitracker facsimiles of Adlibtracker instruments, consider posting them in the instrument sharing thread.

Anyone except those who deliberately leave their programs in an unfinished, non-completable state. If FamiTracker is such that it cannot load some particular validly generated A2I file after implementing this feature, by extension it can simply fail to load every A2I file, and this request would have been done anyway.

Does not load instruments that have mod level at 63 and feedback at 7 because fuck you learn to make better percussion than yamaha noise

Did you post the instruments? I would love to have them as well :)
