Public Repository for Famitracker

Postby retrodpc » Tue Jun 09, 2015 12:20 am

I've noticed that official Famitracker development is handled mainly by only one person, and currently there is a wait between releases to edit the source. I would much appreciate there being a public repository (hosted on something like Github or CodePlex) for easier management of pull requests, forks, etc.

Thanks in advance!

A lot of large scale open source projects are hosted on public repositories already (with one fork representing each official release), I agree this would be nice from a developer perspective....

I haven't considered a public repository so far, but I do have a private one. I can provide access to that for anyone who wants to contribute.

Thanks for continuing this work, jsr! :)

Pretty sure HertzDevil would love to have access to that repository and is well-qualified to aid you with it. Food for consideration. ;)

I'd like access to it only to keep up with it. :)

For what it's worth, though, the source is already exposed 99% as-is here in my QtFT repository.
