No need to be sorry! I'm having fun :)
I just need breaks, I'm glad I'm not on a deadline to deliver. I'm particularly lazy.

Qt Creator had no problem finding the compiler, and Mint and Ubuntu share common package heritage, so there shouldn't be an issue there, but I think I've built up a suite of libraries and dev-tools on my system from building and testing a lot of different software. If you want a hand in diagnosing it, let me know via PM or something! I've got time.

Also, I think I've found what I need to get it to build for 32-bit, so I'm going to try for that instead, since 64 bits doesn't do FT much good at the moment anyway. :)

I tried to compile it in Linux with no avail.
It requires windows.h.

Large Bump. (I don't know if this is supposed to be closed)

Is this just a re-written Famitracker-CX? Knowing the project has been abandoned due to lack of time, it was still a very interesting port. My favorite part of it is the NCurses player, playing the FTMs through the terminal and complete with views of all the channels. What really went downhill was the fact that Famitracker just happened to change versions, and it proved to be too much work for one dude to rework the internals.

Would this be a fork of that, or are you doing this from step 1?

Don't worry about necroposting as much. Any activity is good as long as it remains on topic and significantly adds to the conversation.

Anyway, this is an original project, I believe, not based on FTCX.
