Torture Dungeon (VRC6)

Postby slilly08 » Tue Oct 17, 2017 10:41 pm

Hi all,

I wanted something that sounded reminiscent of '80s Slayer/Metallica, and this is the result. I tried to mimic the sound of dual rhythm guitars, each with a slight room delay sound, which is why I often have 4 channels being used purely for the rhythm guitar parts (not very economical, I know, and it looks weird). Feel free to give it a listen and let me know what you think! I'm releasing an entire album of Halloween-style tunes later this month!

Here's the YouTube video which contains information on the album and a slightly more detailed description (I'll attach an FTM file as well for closer inspection): ...

I'm relatively inexperienced with the VRC6 module. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Wowzers. That rocked! I love the Master Of Puppets-esque riff. Someone else would have to critique the VRC6 (I don't know it too well), but the noise channel was a bit too loud for my liking. Maybe try lowering all the noise volume envelopes by one (ie from C to B). Can't wait for the rest! ... vViHGRrjGw
