JOTY - My Nine Lives

This is music made by me for a project I am doing with my friend. I made it 8 months ago back in 2017 during the project and thought maybe y'all would take a listen. Didn't take me long.

It comes off a little too much wall-of-sound to me - there's not enough volume or timbre variation. Having that for the first couple patterns is okay, but by the time pattern 1 came up it was sounding a little monotonous. It's also a little repetitive rhythm-wise - the little syncopated chords in pattern 02 actually sound out of place because of how consistently on the beat the previous patterns were.
Harmony wise (which is where a lot of my expertise is I think) it's a little more difficult to comment on, since FT isn't notation-based, but I can say that by pattern 03 it felt like it needed some bass - the consecutive sixths, on their own, are not quite enough to produce a sense of harmonic progression.
