A Bust of Saddam Hussein's Last (2A03)

Postby decomposinghorse » Sun Jul 26, 2015 4:01 am

Included in this post is the first piece that I'd made in FamiTracker. Creation time was short, and took place between the 10th and 11th of this year's April. I've since made plenty of other things—hardly any of which have been finished.
Enjoy, if it can motivate as such.

Some interesting/unsettling sound design ideas in here. Same with your other one.

What's odd though is 2A03 pulse channel 1's pattern 0x01. It has loads of volume and Vxx commands, but no actual note is ever played for them to act upon...?

Those are remaining scrap commands, left over from an experiment that I had where I played the two pulse channels alongside one-another. I've included a version of the track that contains the appropriate sequence of notes, to put it in better perspective as an idea; mind you, I haven't updated it to sound good or appropriate to the rest of the track at all. I left them there to remember the concept, as I continued to create the track.
This file isn't an update to the original, but I've also made the slight change of increasing the volume of the two pulse waves as the track reaches the point where it loops. This is something that I had wanted to do shortly after I had decided that it was as probably as finished as it was going to get, but by that time, the track was already online elsewhere. Thanks for expressing interest!
