Bluemoon [N163]

Postby lamsorz » Tue Aug 25, 2015 7:16 am

Hey everyone. I go by lamsorz, or sparkyrogers as some of you used to know me by. It's been a while since I posted on this forum, thought I'd come back with something special. By far, I think this is the best track I've made yet, I absolutely love how it came out. I also threw in a little cameo to a relatively well known keygen track just for the sake of it, let's see who can figure it what it is hehe. I hope you guys enjoy this one.

Wow, this is really good! Well done!
Hi! I'm not really active here anymore but I still make music. Nowadays I mostly make dubstep with emphasis on good melodies and chord progressions.

This is excellent! I'm honestly struggling to find anything to criticize here. The melody is great, the instruments are great... it's all great. The only issue I can find is that there are a bunch of DPCM piano samples that are never used and inflate the filesize slightly... I know it's petty, but there really aren't any other issues to speak of.

Do you write songs for real games? I imagine someone with your skill would do well.

Yeah, sorry about that. I got the PCM instrument from an old collab I did with this dude, he really packed on the samples. And nope, haha I wish. Just a student hobbyist here. It means a lot that you said this though, I put a lot of thought into this track.

Wow, I think I learned more by studying your ftm than fumbling in famitracker for a week, especially on the N163 side!

Amazing track, I'm glad you came back here. :D

Yeah, that's kinda how I learned famitracker too, dissected the modules of other users, especially danooct1's stuff. Thanks for saying so, btw.
