Actually, this is NOT the case.
Earlier today, Xyz told me about a FamiTracker application that imported .NSF files into an edited version of FamiTracker 0.3.7 with NotSoFatsoo written into it. Since one cannot copy and paste music from an older version of FamiTracker into a newer one, I covered the song directly from the NSF importer.
However, I am glad to see that people are concerned with plagiarism, because such acts go against my principles as a person (and I didn't know the .FTM existed either).
Sorry about the confusion.

No problem, as long as you dont claim it to be your own. To be fairly honest though I'd advise to delete that attachment .ftm, as i said earlier:
Someone: I still think iYamWhatIYam's actions qualify as plagiarism...
Me: it does
in writing if you copy something and change some of the words to some synnonyms it still qualifies as plaigurism.
so i see no reason for this to be safe.
but youre fine, just dont let this happen again.

NSFImport still supports saving to FTM's. One can copy and paste pattern data after opening that module in another build.
Just because you "covered it by hand" does not mean that you did not copy the work almost in its entirety.

I am sincerely apologetic about the misunderstanding. This will not happen again, and the offending file has been deleted.

Re: One Instrument Song
So it seems you NSFImported a song and passed it as yours? That's not allowed here. Don't do that again or there will be consequences.

That's not quite what happened, but it is close.
I NSFImported the song and covered it in FamiTracker 0.4.6., while the NSFImport window was still open.
And such actions will not happen again. Any future covers I make with the aid of NSFImport will not be posted on the internet at all, but used as personal amusement.
I hope my foolish action does not tarnish my reputation here at the forums.

That's still kinda dishonest, but it's good that you admit that you did wrong. Just make sure it doesn't happen again.

Re: One Instrument Song
D'ya mind if I contribute to this thing?
Made a little doodle, nothing but the instrument itself and the single DCPM items on it (only ended up using one haha).

Re: One Instrument Song
I don't mind your (or anybody's) contributions at all.
I would like to put the controversy behind us and start this thread anew.
Here's a new, COMPLETELY ORIGINAL song.
I hope you like it, and can forgive me.
