I am not familiar with the original song, so I can't attest to this cover's accuracy. However, I am a huge fan of the use of FDS modulation here, it definitely adds body to the cover, and using it in a lead role is rather uncommon (at least compared to other examples I've seen of it.)

If I can criticize anything else, the other channels feel rather empty, especially in the latter half of the song. Perhaps some backing arpeggios would benefit the sound design and make it feel more fleshed out. This is quite well done otherwise.

The triangle bass is somewhat difficult to hear throughout (perhaps bringing it up an octave would help?), and the OPNA samples in use are very quiet.

Very interesting FDS use here, though. And a good song.
