That's amazing.
The cover is good, the version with drums even better and I didn't even know that the good ol' NES was even capable of outputting something as closely as dubstep
The triangle bass is a note or two off at points but that's barely noticable.
Really awesome work!

h0I!
I liek dis.
But for real, I think the snare and hats are a bit too muffled at points in the chipstep ftm. I may have to steal this idea sometime though, pretty clever.

What is special about the number 224? This is not the first time I've seen a 224Hz NSF. How come people choose this number?

I saw that DJ Dimeback (Vinyl Scratch on the forums) made 224Hz chipstep and I decided to try it instead of 400hz. Even I don't know the reason for the number

nice wubs.
Re: Undertale - Tem Shop 224hz Remix
224Hz is a 'A' sound, and Vinyl Scratch's song (which is a FCP2014 entry) is mainly in A major/minor.
Since your track is in F# major, it's recommended that you set the engine rate to something like 366Hz(which is a F#).

nsf.nesbbs.com under reconstruction, better player might be available in the future.
VRC6 PWM is GAY because it has colours of the rainbow in the NSFPlay keyboard visualizer.

Oh so different engine speeds make different pitches? I didn't know that, thanks! I'll remember for next time

Ahh, that makes sense, w7n, though I'm confused why DJ Dimeback used 224Hz and not 220Hz then...

Maybe it's because 224Hz makes a sharper A sound?
