Shovel Knight: The Explodatorium [VRC6] 0.5 Beta

Postby wispybowl » Mon Jun 08, 2015 9:05 pm

0.5 Beta

So uh, I love this song. Always wanted to do a cover of it, so here it is!
I changed some stuff around here and there and added a dpcm track to compliment the noise track. Overall, just some small changes that I thought made the song better.
Let me know what you guys think.

That sounds rather typical, actually.

I'd give feedback, but I don't have a copy of 0.50 atm to play it on.

You know, Stratelier, you could just grab the NSF instead. Though, wispybowl, it would be appreciated if you labelled any FTMs requiring 0.5 beta.

I don't have much to say on this since I'm not familiar with the original at all, but the only thing I notice is that the lead strings in frames 20-30 stick out a bit too much. That might well be personal preference, though =P

Wow nice cover/arrangement!! Really does improve on the original, which I never thought would be possible. Fantastic job I have 0 criticisms for this.

Stating in your first post that this is a beta 0.5 FTM wouldn't be the worst idea ever. ;)

As for the song itself, I agree with graypesoda that this is a nice improvement on the original! :)

Yeah maybe they do seem a bit too loud with all the changes I've made. Then again if I change it, I might have to re-balance the whole song so that part doesn't sound too quiet.

Sorry about that. My bad. It's updated now to be in the title and the description.

This is amazing! I love it to death, but I also hate it.
Not because it sounds bad, but Plague Knight took me 50 tries to get past.

Nope, I just don't have anything to unpack .rar files with yet.
