When I'm Sixty-Four [FDS+VRC7] [Made in 0.5 Beta 2]

Postby SonicManEXE » Fri Jun 19, 2015 3:22 pm

Hey everyone!

It's been a while, huh? I meant to upload something when the new forums were made (I coincidentally checked the front page the day the new forums came out), but almost a month later isn't bad, right? :P

Anyway, my friend and I arranged this for a little quintet for clarinet, bass clarinet, tuba and voice (hence the tuba instead of bass guitar). Yes, it is multi-chip and I made it in the 0.5 Beta 2 and does not work on 0.4.6. I am well aware that this would not work on actual hardware (and I'm also aware I could have just moved the tuba instrument to VRC7 and made it a single expansion), but I thought it sounded better this way.

It's a fun, short song I think you'l all like. Enjoy!

This made me smile! Though, I have to admit, I first thought of Johnathan Coulton's "When I'm 25 or Sixty-Four" [Which is a mashup of Chicago's "25 or 6 to 4" and This song.] This was thoroughly enjoyable!

This is really neat, but I think the VRC7 is way too loud in this.

I fixed it up a bit. Made it quieter and fixed a couple rhythm things.

I think the trumpet in VRC7 sounds more like a tuba than the FDS.
