[6-N163] Super Mario World - Overworld

A proof-of-concept cover using waveforms generated from a custom Lua script, which I shall make available later.

Frequency detection has been employed such that these These waveforms correspond directly to individual oscillations of the original WAV instrument files (which in turn were dumped from SPCTool or similar applications); these are then linearly picked out to create the FTI files directly, saving a lot of time, and in most cases the results are immediately satisfactory. I was able to sample timpanis by allowing even longer wave lengths.

The attached FTM is compatible with official FamiTracker 0.4.2 or above. The attached NSF replaces instrument 04 with a 64-sample waveform so that it sounds more accurate and less harsh (as noticed below).

Except for instrument 04 sounding way to "sharp" and the mixing being a little unbalanced in some parts, this is impressively accurate! I really like those semi-sampled instruments with the N163! I really want that lua-script on my computer right now...

Well that's uncannily good. I know SMW uses some pretty simple waveforms which seem to work well in conversion to N163. I'll eagerly await your script!

Really, this saves my work. I would be using VRC7 though so it can't sound that authentic.
nsf.nesbbs.com under reconstruction, better player might be available in the future.

VRC6 PWM is GAY because it has colours of the rainbow in the NSFPlay keyboard visualizer.
