I remember composing for a game called Mark XXVIII about a year or so ago (the game is still in development, it had to be restarted completely) and while the composition itself isn't bad by any means, I had no idea how to do instrumentation or anything like that. It was a bit hard to listen to because of it, and the percussion rhythms were all off. I don't have the FTM anymore, but thankfully MrNorbert1994 archived the NSF file so I still have access to it. I still listen to it every now and then, just to see how far I've come.
I re-did it a while ago, and I'd say the remixed songs sounded pretty good. (However, I'm re-doing the soundtrack from scratch because I don't feel all that well about using my very first compositions in a public game.)

Did you lose the FTM to Mark XXVIII (GBC), or Mark XXVIII (NES)?

nsf.nesbbs.com under reconstruction, better player might be available in the future.

VRC6 PWM is GAY because it has colours of the rainbow in the NSFPlay keyboard visualizer.
