Polyphonic math
Polyphonic math
IT would be cool to have one instrument be played on more than one channel while using the virtual keyboard. Its just something nifty to have and also, it allows me to play chords. Deflemask has this feature, it would be nice to have this in famitracker.

Re: Polyphonic math
Indeed it would, but I suppose you wouldn't be able to play more than 2 notes at a time (unless the instrument is for an expansion chip). Also, I don't know whether anything will be implemented, cause there have been no updates on the beta version of Famitracker 0.5 for a while now.

0CC-FamiTracker supports polyphony.

Re: Polyphonic math
I don't use it cause even though you can save your project as an FTM file, they won't work in vanilla. So when I post it on the forums, people, who don't have 0CC will open it and it wouldn't work right for them. And I don't like releasing just NSF files. If it weren't for that, I would've stopped using vanilla ages ago.

It's okay, just post your 0CC modules on the Discord server. The Discord server allows you to post 0CC modules. The server is more active than the forums.

Re: Polyphonic math
Yeah, but the Discord channels are more or less chatrooms. The forums are more sophisticated for showing off your work, in my opinion, because you can make a separate thread for each project. On Discord you'd post it and say "Hey, check out what I made" and it's quite possible that everyone will ignore you. Also, it'd be pretty annoying to have people going "Check out my stuff" every minute. Or maybe I'm missing something here?

So, if I make something in 0CC, will it still support beta 5? I don't want to make something only to find out that it can't be played back in the universal famitracker.
Re: Polyphonic math
0CC-FamiTracker is basically becoming the universal FamiTracker(just about every FT user who's not on these forums uses it), so don't worry about compatibility.
