Version 0.5 preview
Re: Version 0.5 preview
I guess not ALL the mods are gone! What's your stance on the 0CC issue?

Re: Version 0.5 preview
You can download 0CC-FamiTracker. It's all you could ever want in 5.0 and more.

Re: Version 0.5 preview
I downloaded it and tried it, and it doesn't work in Wine, the subsystem for running Windows executables on GNU/Linux.
Everything about FamiTracker 0.4.6 works in Wine once I go in Configuration and increase the buffer length to at least 40 ms. The instrument editor in 0CC-FamiTracker 0.3.14.5, by contrast, does not work in Wine. Instead, as I reported, the length control flashes, and every control becomes unresponsive, until I end the process.
In theory, I could work around this by spending $175 plus tax: $119 for a Windows 10 license and $56 for a RAM upgrade to hold the GNU/Linux host and Windows 10 VirtualBox guest in RAM at once. But I'm not yet convinced that the advantages of 0CC-FT over FT 0.4.6 are worth $175 plus tax.

Well, R.I.P. You, Pinobatch. I can't believe you have to spend $175 PLUS TAX just to get 0CC.
Fun fact: My username here is the same as my youtube channel!

Or you could just... Dualboot Windows. There's no reason to run them both simultaneously, and running Windows in a virtual enviroment, or at least in VirtualBox, has its issues as well.
Hi! I'm not really active here anymore but I still make music. Nowadays I mostly make dubstep with emphasis on good melodies and chord progressions.

Re: Version 0.5 preview
That'd still require buying a Windows license, and it'd cause me to drop offline in my IM apps for two minutes every time I switch between Windows and Linux.
In any case, 0CC-FT works in Wine as of six days ago.

Re: Version 0.5 preview
I would very much like to support 0.5.0 version in Qt FamiTracker. But alas no source is available.
Re: Version 0.5 preview
0cc-ft is working fine with Wine now. I must delete the 0.5 preview as it can't export proper .nes files...
