Megaman X Corrupted: Plasma Puffer

Where do I begin...

Lets just say that Swing is REALLY hard to achieve in Famitracker

I've been working on this for a few months now and I really don't know what to do with it, but this is my most recent version.
I love MMXC with a passion and i love jazz music, but 8 bit jazz is very hard to achieve

I have seen some experimentation with the Gxx command to create arrays of certian patterns of Gxx commands to make
Mystic cave zone from Sonic 2 but that did'nt work for me in this instance.

If anyone can offer advice that would be greatly appreciated.

Also, THIS IS INCOMPLETE AND A WIP

It's a bit empty in some areas in comparison to the original, and it could stand to use more variety with the PXX effect on the leads, as the P81-P7F dynamic might need the detuning to move over to P7E or P82 to keep things balanced. I would also recommend to use the Triangle channel as a stable bass line or even use Sunsoft Bass, keep it from feeling less empty. Pace wise, it's pretty consistent, and you can still hear the jazzy vibe it goes for, for the most part. Overall, it's not too bad of an arrangement, just needs a bit of work.

I agree.

Due to the way i made the "swing" work, i cannot place notes on certain lines, so it inhibits me from adding certain rhythms.

Can you tweak it? I want to see what the community will do with it

Alright, I did some editing to the instrumentation to make it a bit easier on the ears, added a 12 0 Triangle and a different Arp to the Snare you were using, alongside a Tri/Snare Kick to the instruments, applied some of the PXX effects I mentioned before, wrote in a bass line on the Tri Channel, and made the percussion and bass overall a bit meatier, along with taming some of the leads.
